One day, all the lies, BS and cover-ups will come to light.\u00a0 The spin, maneuvering and ignorance will shine like the brightest star on the\u00a0 darkest night for all to see. One day, people will look back on their country\u2019s\u00a0 history and choices and say things like: “What were they thinking? Why didn’t\u00a0 somebody try to fix it? Was everybody stupid?”<\/p>\n
Here are some of the things that will become part of the\u00a0 Legends of Fall of the Stupid and Selfish America:<\/p>\n
Believing that America is powerful and magical and safe\u00a0 from extinction<\/p>\n
Accepting, \u201cWell they did it too!\u201d as justification for\u00a0 poor behavior<\/p>\n
Thinking that power doesn\u2019t corrupt isn\u2019t capable of\u00a0 Godless acts<\/p>\n
Believing that individuals have real power with their\u00a0 Government<\/p>\n
Believing that convenience and comfort come at no cost<\/p>\n
Not caring who pays the cost as long as it isn\u2019t them<\/p>\n
Promoting welfare for those who are capable of doing\u00a0 without it<\/p>\n
Believing that tax breaks and subsidies aren\u2019t welfare<\/p>\n
Creating artificial outcomes in order to make everyone\u00a0 equal<\/p>\n
Lack of Term Limits for ALL elected and appointed people<\/p>\n
Lack of Line item legislation<\/p>\n
Believing that the media isn\u2019t biased and is for the people\u00a0 and the nation<\/p>\n
Believing that some media is different from other media<\/p>\n
Believing that schools just need more money to solve the\u00a0 problems<\/p>\n
Believing that parents and their kids aren\u2019t part of the\u00a0 problem<\/p>\n
Believing that education unions are helping the kids<\/p>\n
Believing that Unions are for the good of the people and\u00a0 nation<\/p>\n
Trial lawyers creating a new type of career classification\u00a0 for people<\/p>\n
Debt fueled social engineering<\/p>\n
Social engineering<\/p>\n
Ensuring one feels good at the expense of many<\/p>\n
Believing that tolerance is a good thing<\/p>\n
Believing that by acting in a racist way will stop racism<\/p>\n
Believing that you are not part of the problem<\/p>\n
Believing in something other than God as truth<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I will admit my faults, learn from my mistakes and fight\u00a0 evil and corruption and ignorance at every opportunity. I will forgo comfort to\u00a0 stand alone to identify and try to correct things when they aren\u2019t right. I will\u00a0 lose friends and power and money for the stand I take on these beliefs because\u00a0 it is the right thing to do. In the end when I have failed to help this sinking\u00a0 country, I will also be the one to say, \u201cI told you so.\u201d<\/p>\n
Existing is not living. Today, America exists. The systems\u00a0 and power brokers have been allowed and even have been encouraged to destroy a\u00a0 beautiful opportunity for people to truly live and be free. I see my fellow\u00a0 Americans in cages that they believe are equally necessary and immovable. Sadly,\u00a0 most don\u2019t see the cage at all. I see the power brokers supervising the welding\u00a0 of those cages. I see those who are charged with ensuring our liberty standing\u00a0 idly by while more personal prisons are built for the American people. I rage\u00a0 against the true injustice that corrupt power delivers. I rage against the\u00a0 helpless and hopeless who have no will to stand and fight for what is good for\u00a0 all. I am saddened by those who were warned about cages and then help build\u00a0 their own cages. I loathe those who were warned and then complain that they are\u00a0 imprisoned and expect someone to get them out.<\/p>\n
The corrupt do not have a monopoly on the absence of rules\u00a0 and consequences. Do you think that just because you aren\u2019t on a leash that you\u00a0 should feel good about being in a cage? Do not expect. Demand! Words are lies;\u00a0 actions are evidence of belief and intention. Take over, not back!<\/p>\n
