Here are a few thoughts:<\/p>\n
1st – If we wait until the 2012 election season to get\u00a0active again, then we are certain to lose. GOTV efforts should have started this\u00a0month.<\/p>\n
2nd – Justice was appropriately delivered to UBL\u00a0a few\u00a0weeks ago. Efforts to unseat the sitting administration just got VERY difficult.\u00a0 GOTV\u00a0is now MISSION CRITICAL, not just important.<\/p>\n
3rd – I grow weary of the “hangers on”, the “wave riders”,\u00a0the “passionately ignorant”, the “wait and seers”, the “oh it’s difficult, or\u00a0that might disrupt my little comfortable world folks” AND ALL others that are\u00a0content to sit around and move nothing but their lips. Running your mouth does\u00a0little but feed plants.<\/p>\n
4th – If you can’t go the distance, you are in the wrong\u00a0class in this race. Go back to the registration desk and look for “Bench warmer”\u00a0or “Whining Decathlon” or “Hot air balloon filler” races.<\/p>\n
I guess that I risk offending some folks with my rhetoric.\u00a0 I am watching 2012 play out long before the election and it seems that most\u00a0folks are just ducky watching it go by.<\/p>\n
If I have violated the code of good taste for this board,\u00a0then I will certainly remove myself from it and the group. I am headed in a\u00a0direction of permanent common sense reform at every level of government. I don’t\u00a0have time to waste on making folks feel good about their lukewarm efforts and\u00a0protecting fragile egos.<\/p>\n
People, waiting for someone else to make things happen is\u00a0what got us into this mess.<\/p>\n
Years ago, I learned a phrase that may help classify your\u00a0thoughts on what I wrote. “A hit dog will holler.”<\/p>\n
